A dramatic twist has emerged in the ongoing #EndSARS campaign, which is seeking for the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), as indications have emerged that the police may have hijacked the purpose of the rally and are in fact trending with the hashtag #SupportSARS.




Sahara Reporters is claiming that the Nigerian Police may have rented some women and girls to counter activists calling for #EndSARS rally.





And the claim has begun to gain currency as a segment of Nigerians are beginning to show their support for SARS even with the hashtag #LeaveSARSAlone.
